Welcome to anything arts, a free electronic newsletter, by artists for
artists, distributed by email every two weeks to promote everything from the
funky avant garde to high brow mainstream art.
[ reader survey ]
What does it mean that
something is considered “art”? Why is one person’s art another person’s (pausing
to look for a clean word…) well, not art? It is an ageless debate and will
likely never be definitively answered to the satisfaction of all. It is
important, however, to explore the different meanings of art and to consider
differing points of view. So, we want to hear from you! What is art?
Click here and email us your opinion or definition and we will print some of
the replies in our next issue. (We will include your name unless you omit it or
instruct us not to use it. We will not publish email addresses.) Thank you! |
