In keeping with our commitment to support the arts, artists and arts patrons, we have created a new arts-centric social community website.

The new AnythingArts.com offers every Member a Personal Profile Page, a fully interactive and easy to use events calendar, loads of photos, information, groups, and a bunch of ways to communicate with other arts enthusiasts.

AnythingArts.com is free and open to everyone.

There’s more special news: we are also putting the finishing touches on an identical site for Bradenton/Manatee County, St. Petersburg and Tampa. After that, we plan to add a dozen more Arts Towns in Florida, and across the country, in the next few months. All Arts Towns will have their own, stand-alone site, but will be linked to each other, spreading the arts news and sharing our great artistic communities.

The AnythingArts.com Newsletter will continue to run every other Thursday, as we have since September 2005.

Visit the new AnythingArts.com.

Some of the things you can do on the new site: You can see the whole site just by visiting AnythingArts.com. If you chose to join, which we encourage, it’s free, and it takes all of sixty seconds to register. Once you’re a Member, you can put in up to 50 photos, videos, link to your personal and business website, and send messages back and forth with other members. You can also participate in any of the public Groups on the site, post your own reviews or start an open discussion with members on any arts related subject.

Another great feature is your ability to create a private group for your organization. For example, let’s say you are a director. You could set up a group for your cast by simply checking a box to make your group private and only able to be seen by invited Members - that you invite or that request your approval. Then you can communicate your production notes, rehearsal schedules and carry on conversations with your cast in the privacy of your very own group. All free and all right on AnythingArts.com.
